Dear Friends - We will be electing Georgia’s next Insurance Commissioner in November 2010, and you know how important that election is to the future of our business. The agents and industry leaders shown below have had an opportunity over the years to get to know the man that we would like to be our next Insurance Commissioner - Senator Ralph Hudgens. Ralph was first elected to the Georgia House of Representatives in 1996 and was subsequently elected to the State Senate in 2002. He serves as Chairman of the Insurance and Labor Committee, Vice Chairman of the Agriculture and Consumer Affairs Committee, and Vice Chairman of the Banking and Finance Committee in the Senate. Ralph is without a doubt one of the State’s foremost experts on insurance, business regulation and consumer issues. He also represents the State on several national insurance industry committees and understands the challenges our industry faces on the federal level.

One of the qualities that makes Ralph such an attractive candidate for us is the fact he understands our industry, and he is well aware of how important it is for the insurance industry to operate in an open free market without excessive regulation. He also understands that open competition is good for all of Georgia’s consumers. Ralph is a successful business man and he understands the daily challenges we as agents and our customers encounter.
